  • Adds a greyed-out Pyodide icon based on our other ones
  • Fixes usage of deprecated pyGitHub API and updates schema, etc., to accept Pyodide logo
  • Regenerates data for working examples to include Pyodide (I selected a bunch of repositories I know are building for Pyodide, but there may be more, which we can always update later). Also regenerates data for iOS and Android, which was missed in docs: add Android & iOS to working examples #2811.
  • Adds Pyodide to the "Usage" table

Regenerates data for working examples

I think the preference is to let the weekly update workflow take care of that (that would definitely have conflicted in the case of #2811)

I'm not sure the ⚠️ is quite fair to pyodide.
Android & iOS are marked as ✅ for most CI providers but are tested only on GitHub & Azure Pipelines if I'm not mistaken. I don't remember if there was some manual test at some point. In any case, I expect pyodide to get an even better compatibility with untested CI providers than iOS / Android.
I think we can keep the note but use the green mark ?

Thanks for the review! Nice to see that pybase64 also builds Pyodide wheels. :)

Good point. Yes, Pyodide doesn't need anything GitHub specific and in recent times we've been able to handle our dependencies well. Node.js isn't a particularly hard-to-install dependency on other CI providers either. I'll change this.

Marking as draft because the SVG icon seems to be messed up at https://github.com/agriyakhetarpal/cibuildwheel/tree/add-pyodide-icon-and-misc-to-readme?tab=readme-ov-file#working-examples for some reason. Investigating.
